Biography

A highly skilled professional with a diverse background as an experienced site engineer, academic, and researcher. With over 10 years of industry experience and a PhD in engineering, my expertise spans across construction, hydropower generating, planning, R&D, and training.

 

My proficiency in site engineering is complemented by his knowledge in passive fire systems design, ensuring that the solutions are not only efficient but also compliant with industry standards.

 

With my invaluable experience and multidisciplinary skills, I contribute significantly to the newly developed PF solutions, and am looking forward to delivering quality outcomes that enhance the success of fire stopping solutions.

Topic: Introduction to CLT Building Methodology

Biography

 

As one of the first to join XLam, in what was a very young and dynamic mass timber market, Sean has gone on to be one of the leading CLT advisers in the country. With knowledge covering all aspects of CLT and mass timber construction, Sean has seen nearly 100 mass timber projects through to engagement and countless others in various stages of pre-contract involvement.

Sean is now responsible for further developing the XLam market in NSW, and nurturing XLam projects right from first contact through to engagement. Sean’s role at XLam covers providing advice on design intent, NCC compliance, site logistics, installation advice and cost planning assistance.
